Desert Spirit United Church of Christ serves the community,
and the world, through world wide missions
and mission work
in the West Valley. Some of our projects include:
- The New Life Center: a refuge for families experiencing domestic violence - we help refurbish casitas
- Hope's Closet: a service helping spouses and children escape from destructive environments - we read
to resident children, help hang clothes, landscape and paint walls, and work with the Craft Club
We will continue to worship with sister-churches while we
transition to a service-based group. This "walk of sole to soul"
will definitely give you a chance to use your God-given talent
to serve others.
